This series investigates the invisible forces that we feel in our lives: when we feel the presence of someone who is far away, the urge to do something, go somewhere, or the simply magic in coincidences.

I developed it in Chile with the help of my sister, who turned out to embody all the ideas I was thinking.

It was beautiful.

In this series I try to revive the archetype of the wild woman: in relation with nature and with herself.

It’s a beautiful collaboration with Anouk Froidevaux, dancer and choreographer, with whom we have been creating these magical moments. She dances, I photograph.

Dance and photography, performer and viewer, the ephemeral and permanent, outward landscape and inner thoughts.

What are dreams?

A series of thoughts, images, and sensations occurring in a person’s mind during sleep.

Cherished aspirations, ambitions, or ideals.

  • They are stories that have been waiting a long time to come out. I don’t really know where they are coming from, but everyday when I wake up I know I have to tell them. Translate them into the language I know best: the language of images.

What happens when a part of one-self turns off? Maybe it’s consciousness, maybe it’s a part of our ego, it could even be our sense of self. With no physical limitations, time is felt differently. We understand what things are even though they seem different. We inhabit the realm of emotions.

Dreams are also about achieving the impossible, materialising the ridiculous.

This moment in my life seems like a dream to me.
